So one of my new years resolutions, is to attempt to complete majority of my Steam library! I am aiming to use Tumblr as my main station to keep track of my progress, which going by my track record.. might not go too well! My plan, is to play from Z-A (as doing A-Z is boring!), post a picture of the game of its current playtime, hopefully a picture of the end game screen (or achievement if possible) and the final playtime(for multi-player instances). Now I do have a list of games that I have already finished on steam. It’s been a while..

Ok, so I had intended on keeping this up-to-date, but I fail at blogs. So here I am again, trying to tell myself that I will do the best I can. So as a huge update, I passed my college course (HNC Computing), I got engaged to my wonderful girlfriend and I got accepted into university! And I’m now about half way through my first year!! So it’s been quite hectic since I last updated Tumblr so I hope to keep it going better than last time!!

A day well spent!!

OK, so after my exam yesterday (which I found out I get my results in about a week!!) I spent most of last night relaxing and generally catching up on stuff I have missed. Today I more or less spent it playing Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy to Americans), I’ve have a few run in’s with this game.. but never quite managed to get past certain parts. There have been times where I had though about replaying it but today I decided was that day! After finishing it, all I can say is wow.. this game for me is a highlight of my gaming experience, I can’t believe that I went so long and not played it! I’d would highly recommend it, OK its a slightly older game but that’s not what this game is about, the story is amazing, a few moments where I was like WTF?! but sure enough I was gripped the whole time!

Anyway, that has been how I spent my Thursday off. Tomorrow I’ll be heading to Glasgow to see family!

Exams Exams!!

So, today was basically the biggest day of my life up to this point. I had my HNC Computing graded unit exam. I had 2 parts to sit, 30 Multiple choice questions for the first part. The second part was 7 extended response questions. Overall I feel I done pretty good, well, good enough to get the B I need to go to university after the summer!! Not sure when I find out but for now, all the hard revision I’ve done over the last few days has come to an end. I can now relax for the rest of the week and the resume a slightly less crazy college schedule.

The big day draws closer..

So over the last few days all I’ve done is college work. With the exception of watching football last night (disappointed with the result). But it is the eve of my big exam, I have revised and crammed as much as I can into my head. I have computer terminology coming out of my ears!! I shall be having tea, and the relax tonight and have a small browse over notes for tomorrow. Then I can relax, and chill and enjoy a lot of time off.

My Arrival

So here I am.. Checking out tumblr, still trying to get to grips with it. Also, I’m not great at keeping these sorts of things up to date. I came to tumblr because of Dodger (aka. Dex Bonus)

I’ll tell a bit about myself. My name is Scott, I’m 23 years old and live in Scotland.

I’m a college student studying an HNC (Higher National Certificate) in Computing, and currently have a conditional offer to Edinburgh’s Napier University to study Computer Engineering. I have a few hobbies that I like. I generally like most sports, such as Football, Golf and a few others. I collect Warhammer 40k (currently have Eldar and Space Wolves) and try and play it as often as possible, but peoples schedules can mess that up!
